On Sunday, Houston Texans’ star pass rusher J.J. Watt showed off his new logo.
“I wanted the ability to put my own personal stamp of approval on tools that I thought would help people perform better. And that is what this logo has allowed me to do. When you see this logo, you will know that I personally had my hand in the product’s creation and that it has my own personal stamp of approval,” Watt told ESPN.
Designed by Reebok, the new logo features two “J” letters, one of which is backward, to create a “W”. If you turn the mark upside down, it looks like Watt’s jersey number “99”. The logo’s design was created to look like rising buildings, a metaphor for Watt’s work ethic.
